At the ongoing CES in Las Vegas LG unveiled big plans for WebOS on TV. LG plans with big unit numbers and models. Maybe this is a break through in Smart TV, this time? Up and until now, users couldn’t be convinced on a really massive scale that connected TV’s are really usable as interface to the net, mainly due to usability and speed issues, as well as lacking offerings due to complicated licensing and backend contracts by the vendors.
